The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in individual and group therapy settings. In addition to providing traditional therapy modalities, the therapist will have the unique opportunity to work with patients undergoing treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine, and Esketamine. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients with mood disorders. 
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients’ needs and goals. 
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. 
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and coping strategies. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. 

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. 
  • Fully Licensed as a therapist in the state of Connecticut. Supervision is not offered. 
  • Minimum of two years of experience in providing therapy to individuals and groups. 
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with patients undergoing TMS, Ketamine, or Esketamine treatment. 
  • Certification or training in specialized therapy modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
