DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes. We are in network with most insurance companies. Depending on your insurance plan, patients may have a copay or deductibles and are required to make up the difference between our fees and your health insurance benefits. It is recommended that you check with your insurance company about your benefits prior to beginning treatment.
IS THE DOCTOR AVAILABLE FOR EMERGENCIES?
If you have a psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or go the emergency room. It is important to know that this is an outpatient private practice and as such there is not someone on call 24/7. If you have an emergency and you are unable to reach your doctor, please call 911 or go the emergency room. For non-urgent issues, during the normal business hours, please contact us and we will return your call within 2 business days.
WILL YOU WORK WITH MY PSYCHIATRIST AND THERAPIST TO HELP TREAT MY DEPRESSION?
Yes. We often collaborate with other health professionals. If you have a good relationship with your current psychiatrist or therapist and are making progress, you should continue treatment with them. Since we specialize in depression procedures like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato and IV Ketamine, we may be able to supplement their treatment methods to support your overall health. Contact us and we will work together to support your treatment needs.
CAN YOU TREAT ME IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF CONNECTICUT?
Many patients from neighboring states travel to Connecticut for treatments. Since some of our treatment regimens can be over 6 weeks, you will be expected to travel quite a bit. Contact us to discuss your unique situation and we can suggest options for your care.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand that life happens. If you schedule an appointment but realize that you are unable to keep it, please let us know as soon as possible, 48 hours are required for cancellations/rescheduling. Depending on the service you are canceling or rescheduling you may be required to pay a fee. Also be aware that certain medications will not be refilled without an in person visit with the Psychiatrist.
