Depression and Trauma Experts in Connecticut

Thank you for choosing to refer your patient to us.

We collaborate with health professionals to provide comprehensive care. Since we specialize in Interventional Psychiatry and have an outpatient facility designed for delivering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Intravenous Ketamine and Spravato, in most cases act as support service for your practice.

Depression MD Services & Procedures

Depression MD specializes in treating depression with a focus on procedures for treatment resistant depression. We’ll be part of your treatment team to provide the following services and procedures to adults

Initial Diagnostic Consultation

We offer a comprehensive diagnostic consultation with specific and individualized treatment recommendations. This initial consult does not establish care with us and can be used as diagnostic clarification for your treatment plan. Our diagnostic evaluations include a 75 min interview, full medication history review, review of medical and psychiatric history, labs and EKG.

Spravato Procedure at Depression MD

Spravato™ & IV Ketamine

Spravato™ and IV Ketamine are used to treat patients with treatment resistant depression. Ketamine is FDA approved and has a remarkable safety track record and is proven to be 60-80 % effective for depression. IV Ketamine and Spravato are administered within our offices where patients are monitored by a psychiatrist and other medical professionals over the course for 90 to 120 minutes.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS at Depression MD

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS, a FDA approved treatment for depression, is a noninvasive form of brain stimulation in which a targeted pulsed magnetic field, similar to what is used in an MRI machine, stimulates areas of the brain that are underactive in depression. The TMS protocol requires 36 treatments which can range from 4-20 mins, every weekday, over 6 weeks.

Ongoing collaboration

It’s our goal to build an ongoing collaborative relationship with you. Like you, we’re also committed to providing the patient with the best care to live their best possible life.
